Indiana residents can register to vote online, by mail, or in person. However, Indiana does not offer same-day voter registration, so be mindful of registration deadlines.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Be a resident of Indiana and the precinct in which you’re registering.
- Be at least 18 years old by Election Day.
- Not be currently imprisoned after being convicted of a crime.
Registration Methods:
- Online Registration:
- Register online using the Indiana Voter Portal.
- You’ll need a valid Indiana driver’s license or state ID to complete the online registration.
- By Mail:
- Download and complete the Indiana Voter Registration Form.
- Mail the completed form to your county voter registration office. You can find addresses on the Indiana Secretary of State’s website.
- In Person:
- Register in person at your local county voter registration office, DMV, or public assistance offices.
- Voter registration drives may also offer opportunities to register in person.
Registration Deadline:
